Welcome to the hiking route to Pršivec! This challenging 8.985-kilometer out-and-back trail offers breathtaking views and several points of interest along the way.
Starting from the parking area at the beginning of the trail, you will journey through diverse landscapes, including lush forests and rocky terrain. Make sure to bring plenty of water, as the trail covers a total elevation gain of 585 meters.
At around 2.19 kilometers from the start, you will come across the Koča na Planini pri Jezeru alpine hut, where you can take a rest and enjoy a meal. Additionally, there is a drinking water station nearby for your convenience.
As you continue onwards, at approximately 4.49 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Pršivec, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. Take your time to admire the beauty of the Julian Alps.
On the return journey, you can stop by Bregarjevo zavetišče alpine hut, located around 3.27 kilometers from the start, for another chance to refuel and relax.
Throughout the trail, you will also encounter informative signboards, viewpoints, and even cave entrances, adding an extra element of interest to your hike.
