Welcome to Thor's Rock - Footpath 57 hike! This super easy 1.459 km circular route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Thor's Rock.

Starting off, you'll find parking at NT Thurstaston Common about 0.26 km from the beginning of the trail. As you continue your journey, you'll come across a cozy pub called Cottage Loaf just 0.01 km into the hike, perfect for a quick refreshment stop.

Further along the trail, at about 0.55 km from the start, you'll find a viewpoint at Thurstaston Hill, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Make sure to take a moment to soak in the beauty of the area. Nearby, there are several benches where you can sit and take a break, located at varying distances from the trail.

Towards the midpoint of your hike, at 0.7 km from the start, you'll reach Thor's Rock, a must-see natural landmark along the route. Finally, on the way back, you can refill your water bottle at a water source located about 0.73 km from the start.

This hike is relatively easy and with no elevation gain, making it suitable for hikers of all levels. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear comfortable walking shoes, and check the weather forecast before heading out. Enjoy your trek through Thor's Rock and its surrounding beauty!
