This extremely difficult 18.415 km circular hiking route will take you to the stunning Schafköpfe area. With an elevation gain of 1467.0 meters, this challenging hike is not for the faint of heart. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.

Starting off at the parking area, you will begin your journey surrounded by the beauty of the Alpine landscape. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across the Schesaplanahütte - SAC alpine hut located at 4.97 km from the start. This is a great spot to take a break, enjoy some refreshments, and take in the breathtaking views.

Continuing onwards, at 4.62 km into the hike, you will find an information point providing interesting insights about the area. Further along the trail, at 7.61 km, there is another information point offering more details about the surroundings.

As you approach the peak of Schafköpfe at 8.63 km from the start, you will be rewarded with panoramic views that make the challenging ascent worth it. Take your time to soak in the beauty of the natural landscape before beginning your descent back to the starting point.

Remember to pace yourself, wear appropriate hiking gear, and stay on the marked trail at all times. This hike is not recommended for beginners due to its length and elevation gain. Enjoy the journey and have a safe and memorable hiking experience in the Schafköpfe area.
