Welcome to the Grüner Weg hiking route!
Located in a picturesque area, this moderate 5.13-kilometer circular trail offers hikers a chance to immerse themselves in nature while enjoying some interesting points of interest along the way.
Starting off the hike, you will come across a water feature just 0.11 kilometers from the trail. As you continue, you will encounter a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the journey.
During your hike, you will pass by the ruins of Burg Baldeck, a historic castle located 0.23 kilometers from the trail, and Ruine Burg Blankenhorn, another castle situated 2.08 kilometers from the start.
For a refreshing break, there is a spring known as Fischerbrunnen located 1.2 kilometers into the hike. Further along, at 1.22 kilometers, you will find the Sirchinger Wasserfall, a beautiful waterfall that provides a great spot for photos.
As you reach the midway point of the hike, you will come across a viewpoint at 1.22 kilometers and a picnic site at 1.25 kilometers where you can relax and take in the stunning scenery.
Towards the end of the trail, you can visit the Känzele information point, located 1.68 kilometers from the start, before making your way back to the starting point.
