This hiking route takes you to the stunning Tuca de Vallibierna / Roca Bllanca in the scenic area surrounding Ibón de Bortonés. The trail is 12.228 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 858 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.
As you begin your journey, you will pass by the Ibón de Bortonés, a beautiful water feature located 2.47 kilometers from the start of the trail. Further along the route at 3.94 kilometers, you will come across another water point to replenish your supply.
Around the midway point of the hike, at 6.11 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Tuca de Vallibierna / Roca Bllanca, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the area. Additionally, at 2.93 kilometers from the start, you will find the Refugio Cap de Llauset alpine hut, providing a cozy rest stop for tired hikers.
It is recommended to bring plenty of water, snacks, and to check the weather forecast before starting the hike. The trail is an out-and-back type, so you will retrace your steps on the way back, taking in the stunning scenery once more. Lastly, make sure to take breaks as needed and pace yourself due to the challenging nature of the hike.
