At the beginning of the hike, you will find Gasthaus Hofer, a restaurant just a short distance from the trail. As you continue, you'll pass by Buchberg Hütte, a restaurant and alpine hut nestled 2.02 kilometers into the hike.

Midway through the trail, you will encounter a water source at a distance of 0.47 kilometers from the start, perfect for refilling your water supply. Along the way, you'll also come across the Augenbründl spring and the historic Buchbergkreuz wayside cross.

Towards the end of the hike, at approximately 2.05 kilometers, you'll reach the Schalenstein rock formation, a notable landmark in the area. Additionally, there are viewpoints and historic sites scattered throughout the trail, offering a glimpse into the local history and natural beauty of the surroundings.
