This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Poggio Casaccia. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 5.931 kilometers and an elevation gain of 364 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.
As you start your hike, you will pass by the parking area at Fonte dei Seppi, where you can leave your vehicle before beginning your adventure. Shortly after, at about 0.14 kilometers from the start, you will come across the refreshing spring of Fonte dei Seppi, providing a nice spot to rest and rehydrate.
Continuing on the trail, at around 0.57 kilometers from the start, you will reach the saddle of Sella degli Scollini, offering beautiful panoramic views of the surroundings. Further along at 1.78 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Sella delle Colline (Tedesco Morto), another saddle with interesting natural features.
At the midway point of the hike, approximately 2.67 kilometers from the start, you will arrive at the scenic viewpoint of Poggio Casaccia. This is a great spot to take a break, enjoy the views, and maybe snap some photos.
