This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Velika Zelenica. The trail is 11.173 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 687 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Podvežak parking area, which marks the beginning of the trail. About 2.18 kilometers into the hike, you will find a drinking water station, perfect for refilling your water bottles.
Midway through the hike, at approximately 4.37 kilometers from the start, you will reach Sedelce, a scenic saddle along the trail. This is a great spot to take a break and admire the surrounding natural beauty.
Further along the trail, at 5.19 kilometers from the start, you will find Veliki vrh, a peak that offers stunning panoramic views. While it may require a slight detour from the main trail, the views are definitely worth it.
Towards the end of the hike, at around 5.59 kilometers from the start, you will reach Velika Zelenica, another peak with breathtaking views. This is the perfect spot to rest and enjoy the scenery before heading back.
Along the route, you will also come across informational points like Polanšek Mima monument and various information stations, providing insights into the area's history and wildlife.
