This hiking route takes you to the beautiful Harauer Spitze area, offering stunning views and a variety of interesting points of interest along the way. The trail is 1.171 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 137 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

Starting at the trailhead, you will come across the Ottenalm restaurant at the beginning of the hike, perfect for a quick snack before continuing on. As you venture further, you will pass by the Ottenalm Direttissima via ferrata, offering a thrilling climbing experience just 0.45 kilometers into the trail.

Continuing along the path, you will encounter the Walchseerunde via ferrata and the Bergkameraden Steig via ferrata, providing more opportunities for adventurous exploration. Be sure to admire the Brücke am Gweih and Schluchtenscheißerl along the way, each with its own unique charm.

As you reach the midway point, you will find the Harausattel saddle and the Harauer Spitze peak, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. Take a moment to rest at one of the benches conveniently located along the trail, providing a peaceful spot to enjoy the scenery.

Before heading back, make a stop at the wayside cross and information points to learn more about the region and the nearby Kaiserwinkel Klettersteige climbing routes. If you need a break or a meal, the Haraualm restaurant is located nearby, perfect for refueling before the return journey.
