This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Nordöstlicher Wachturm, offering stunning views and a chance to connect with nature. The trail is approximately 2.64 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 171 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across Parkplatz Holzlagerplatzweg, a parking area at the beginning of the trail. It is a great spot to park your car before embarking on the hike. Midway through the trail, you will find the Rauschentor saddle, providing a picturesque resting spot with panoramic views. Make sure to stop by Bergungsbox am Rauschentor, an information point, to learn more about the area's history and highlights.

Towards the end of the trail, you will reach Winklerturm, a peak that offers breathtaking views of the surroundings. Take a moment to relax on one of the benches, such as the one located at the Eckzahn peak, before heading back on the return journey.
