Starting at Parkplatz Holzlagerplatzweg, you will find parking facilities at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way along the path, you'll come across informative points such as Bergungsbox am Rauschentor and Breite Kluft / Holzlagerplatzweg, providing interesting insights along the journey.

About 0.09 kilometers from the start, you will encounter an information point, adding to the educational aspect of the hike. Further along, at 0.21 kilometers, you'll find the Elbtalwächter, a peak perfect for a climbing challenge.

Midway through the hike, at 1.52 kilometers, you'll reach Kleine Bastei, a viewpoint offering breathtaking scenery of the surroundings. Additionally, at the same distance, you'll find a bench to rest and take in the beauty of the area.

Towards the end of the trail, at 1.55 kilometers, you'll reach Bismarckfels / Elbtalturm, a peak where you can enjoy panoramic views and an ideal spot for climbing enthusiasts.
