This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Lac de Cherapont. Starting at the parking area near the lake, you will follow the trail for approximately 5.7 kilometers with an elevation gain of 108 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.

Along the way, you will pass by various points of interest. At the beginning of the hike, you will find the Lac de Cherapont where you can enjoy the serene waters. As you continue on the trail, you will come across the Restaurant du Lac de Cherapont, a perfect spot to take a break and refuel.

Midway through the hike, you will reach a beautiful beach where you can take in the views and maybe even dip your toes in the water. Further along the trail, around the 2.84 kilometer mark, you will encounter another water feature, adding to the scenic beauty of the hike.

It is important to bring an adequate water supply, especially on warmer days, and to check the weather forecast before heading out on the trail. This out-and-back route offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the natural beauty of Lac de Cherapont and its surroundings. Enjoy your hike!
