Germany Baden-Württemberg Rems-Murr-Kreis

This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with lovely scenery and moderate difficulty. The trail covers a distance of 5.094 kilometers and includes an elevation gain of 115 meters, making it a great option for a day hike.

Starting at the parking area at the beginning of the trail, you will first come across a natural spring at a distance of 2.28 kilometers from the start. This is a perfect spot to refill your water bottles and take a refreshing break. Continuing on, at 2.3 kilometers into the hike, you will find Gasthof Stern, a restaurant where you can stop for a meal or a quick snack.

Further along the trail at 2.21 kilometers, there is a bench where you can rest and enjoy the surrounding nature. As you approach the midway point of the hike, you will come across a bench and an information point at distances of 2.07 and 1.03 kilometers from the start, respectively.

Near the end of the trail, at 0.19 kilometers from the start, you will see a historic wayside cross called Sühnekreuz, adding a cultural touch to your hiking experience. Finally, at 0.87 kilometers, you will find the archaeological site of Limes Wachtposten Wp 9/106, providing a glimpse into the area's rich history.
