This 9.849 km difficult trail offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for hikers. The route starts at Kälberweiden parking area. As you begin your journey, you will pass by the historic wayside cross located at 0.7 km from the start.

Continuing on, at 1.04 km, you will find the beautiful Lecknersee, a natural water body perfect for a serene break. At 1.31 km, you can visit Höfle Alpe, a cozy restaurant for some refreshments.

Further along the trail at 1.32 km, you will come across the Schneidenbachalpe alpine hut. This is a great spot to rest and take in the panoramic views. Another alpine hut, Hohenfluhealpe, can be found at 4.81 km into the hike, providing accommodation for those looking to extend their adventure.

As you make your way back, make sure to stop at the water source located at 4.92 km to refill your bottles. The route offers varying terrains and elevation gain of 501.0 meters, so be prepared for a challenging hike.
