Welcome to the hiking route along the embankment of Martynova in Saint Petersburg. This super easy route features a total distance of approximately 1.164 kilometers with no significant elevation gain, making it ideal for a leisurely walk or a relaxing stroll.

Starting at the parking area, you will first encounter a beautiful fountain just 0.05 kilometers into the hike. As you continue, you will come across various amenities such as cafes and restaurants where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments. At around 0.1 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the picturesque Srednyaya Nevka river.

Further along the trail, you will find benches for resting at various points, with some located around the 0.26 kilometers mark, offering a peaceful spot to relax and take in the surroundings. Along the route, you will also find several water features such as the 1st and 2nd Southern ponds and 3rd Southern pond, adding to the scenic beauty of the area.

If you are in the mood for some local cuisine, there are fast-food options and cafes scattered along the trail, perfect for a quick bite to eat. Additionally, there are information points and even a zoo nearby if you wish to explore more of the area.

As this is an out-and-back route, you can choose to turn back at any point, with plenty of benches and facilities available for your convenience. Remember to bring water, especially on warmer days, and check the weather forecast before setting out.
