Welcome to the hiking route to Sonnenwendstein! This trail is located in a beautiful area with stunning views and varied terrain. The route is an out-and-back trail, so you'll retrace your steps on the way back.

Starting at the Waldparkplatz Ottomühle parking area, you'll embark on a super easy hike with a total distance of 0.63 kilometers and an elevation gain of 35 meters. As you begin your hike, you'll pass by the Chinesischer Turm and Kanzelturm, both great climbing spots along the trail.

Midway through the hike, you'll encounter the Schiefe Zacke, a peak that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Continuing on, you'll come across the Friedrich August-Rondell, an information point that provides insight into the area's history and wildlife.

As you approach the endpoint, the Sonnenwendstein peak stands tall, offering a rewarding climax to your hike. Along the way, you'll find various viewpoints, benches, and climbing spots to rest and take in the scenery.
