Welcome to this super easy hiking route in a beautiful area filled with breathtaking peaks and natural wonders.
You will start your journey at Waldparkplatz Ottomühle, where you can park your vehicle and begin your adventure. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across several points of interest that are perfect for climbers and nature enthusiasts alike.
About 0.3 kilometers from the start, you will reach Chinesischer Turm, a peak that offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Further along, at around 0.48 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Kleine Herkulessäule and Hinterer Schroffer Stein, both popular climbing spots with impressive rock formations.
As you continue your hike, you will pass by several other peaks such as Herkuleswand, Große Herkulessäule, and Kanzelturm, each offering unique challenges for climbers. Be sure to take a moment to enjoy the viewpoints along the way, including Kanzelsteinaussicht and Sonnenwendstein.
Midway through your hike, at approximately 0.48 kilometers from the start, you will find Friedrich August-Rondell, a great spot to take a break and learn more about the area. As you approach the end of the trail, you will be rewarded with the majestic Hinterer Schroffer Stein. This destination marks the turnaround point of your out-and-back route, where you can soak in the beauty of the natural surroundings before heading back.
