This hiking route will take you through a beautiful area with stunning views, starting at a parking area near the trailhead. The trail begins at an elevation of 744 meters and gradually ascends towards the destination, Rifugio Chionea, which is located at an elevation of 1098 meters.

As you hike along the trail, you will come across various points of interest. Just 2 kilometers into the hike, you will find the Rifugio Chionea alpine hut, a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Further along the trail, about 1 kilometer away, you will pass by Monumento all'Alpino, a historic monument commemorating the Alpine soldiers.

Along the route, you will also find amenities such as drinking water sources, information kiosks, a bench for resting, and various bars and restaurants like Vineria della Posta, Pizzeria La Via del Sale, Bar da Gemma, Pub Sesto Senso, and Bar dell'Olmo.

This out-and-back trail covers a distance of 4.058 kilometers with an elevation gain of 353 meters. The duration of the hike is approximately 1 hour and 23 minutes.
