Welcome to the Stockalperweg hiking route! This moderate 2.957-kilometer out-and-back trail offers a total elevation gain of 320 meters, making it a great option for hikers looking for a bit of a challenge.

Starting off at the parking area at the beginning of the trail, you'll find convenient parking facilities before you begin your hike. As you make your way along the path, about 1.48 kilometers in, you'll come across an information point in the village of Gondo, where you can learn more about the history and culture of the area.

Continuing on, at around the midway point of your hike, you'll reach a beautiful viewpoint that offers scenic views of the surrounding landscape. This is a perfect spot to take a break, rest, and maybe even snap a few photos.

As you near the end of the trail, you'll pass by a waterfall located off the main path, about 0.21 kilometers away. While not directly on the trail, it's worth a short detour to admire the natural beauty. Additionally, at around 0.29 kilometers from the start, you'll find a drinking water station to refill your water bottle and stay hydrated during your hike.
