Welcome to the Eichbergturm hiking route! This easy 2.784-kilometer circular trail offers a pleasant hike with a total elevation gain of 135 meters and a duration of approximately 58 minutes.

The hike starts from the Bergfriedhof parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the trail. As you start your journey, you will come across an ancient boundary stone located just 0.57 kilometers from the trailhead. This historical marker provides a glimpse into the past as you continue your hike.

Midway through the trail, at approximately 1.35 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Eichbergturm viewpoint. Climb up the Eichbergturm tower to enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area and take a well-deserved break on the nearby bench.

Just a short distance away from the viewpoint, at the same location, you will find the Eichberg peak and a shelter where you can rest and refuel before continuing your adventure. Information points along the trail provide insights into the local landmarks, such as the Grenzstein and Eichbergweg.

As you make your way back to the starting point, be sure to stop by the picnic site and shelter located at 0.28 and 0.2 kilometers from the trailhead, respectively. These facilities offer a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a snack amidst nature's beauty.
