Located in a scenic area, this easy 2.44-kilometer hiking route offers a leisurely stroll with no elevation gain, making it perfect for all skill levels. The trail starts at La Bicyclette cafe, where you can grab a quick snack before heading out. As you make your way along the trail, you'll pass by various points of interest.
At the beginning of the hike, you'll find Estacionamento Jardim Botânico for parking and Rio a pé information point, where you can learn more about the area. Further along, you'll come across a drinking water station and Cafe Botânica for a refreshing drink.
Midway through the hike, you'll reach Lago Frei Leandro, a picturesque lake perfect for a rest stop or a picnic. Nearby, you'll also find a fountain and Rubaiyat Rio restaurant for a more substantial meal.
On the way back, you can stop by the memorial and bicycle parking areas before reaching the trailhead.
