The Wiggengrundweg hike is a picturesque trail that covers a distance of approximately 2.7 kilometers with an elevation gain of 116 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. The hike is an out-and-back route, starting at a parking area where you can leave your vehicle conveniently.

As you begin your journey, you will pass by the Berlebecker Quellen, a natural spring located around 0.19 kilometers from the start of the trail. Further along the path, at about 1.08 kilometers from the start, you will come across the Falkenburg Schutzhütte, a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature.

For nature enthusiasts, there are several points of interest off the trail, including the Falkenburg informational point and the Ransberg peak, located at 1.08 kilometers and 0.45 kilometers from the start, respectively. Make sure to stop by the viewpoints along the way to admire the scenic beauty of the area.

Midway through the hike, you will find the Landhaus Hirschsprung restaurant, where you can refuel and relax before continuing your adventure. Additionally, there are benches scattered along the trail where you can take a rest and soak in the peaceful ambiance of the surroundings.
