The Falkenburg - Wiggengrundweg hiking route is located in a beautiful natural area with stunning views and historical landmarks. This out-and-back trail offers an easy difficulty level, making it suitable for hikers of all skill levels.

Starting off from the designated parking area, you will begin your journey on the trail, passing by the Berlebecker Quellen, a natural water source located about 0.19 kilometers from the start. Further along the route, at approximately 0.59 kilometers from the beginning, you will come across a scenic spring at a distance from the trail.

As you continue onwards, you will reach the Falkenburg Schutzhütte, a shelter for hikers located at around 1.08 kilometers from the starting point. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Nearby, at the same distance, you will find the Falkenburg, an informative site that sheds light on the history of the area.

Further along the trail, at about 1.34 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Ransberg peak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, a viewpoint is situated at the same distance, offering a perfect vantage point to appreciate the beauty of the region.

Throughout the hike, there are benches strategically placed along the trail for hikers to rest and take in the scenery. However, it is important to note that some points of interest, such as the historical building and peaks, are slightly off the main trail.
