This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Hexenfelsen. The trail is 2.42 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 150 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. The estimated duration for this hike is around 56 minutes.

As you begin your journey, you will come across Skihütte Volkmarsberg, a cozy pub located just 0.57 kilometers from the start of the trail. This is a great spot to grab a drink or a snack before continuing on your adventure. Further along the trail, at 1.08 kilometers from the start, you will find a BBQ area where you can take a break and enjoy a meal in the midst of nature.

About midway through the hike, at 1.11 kilometers from the start, you will reach Volkmarsberghütte, an alpine hut where you can rest and take in the scenic views. Just a bit further ahead, at 1.16 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the iconic Volkmarsbergturm viewpoint, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Towards the end of the trail, at 1.21 kilometers from the start, you will find Hexenfelsen, a rock formation that serves as the perfect destination for this out-and-back hike. Along the way, you will also come across several benches where you can take a moment to rest and appreciate the tranquility of the area.
