This hiking route takes you to the stunning Vorderer Verdinser Plattenspitz - Laste di Verdines (di fuori) in the beautiful area. The trail is an out-and-back type, totaling 13.86 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1073 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area, making it convenient to begin the hike. Along the trail, there are several points of interest that you can explore. At around 1.41 kilometers from the start, you will find a natural water source, providing a refreshing stop for hikers.
Around 5.2 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Forcella Sant’Osvaldo - Oswaldscharte, a scenic saddle point offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Nearby, you will also find information points like Oswaldscharte - Forcella Sant’Osvaldo, providing insights into the area's history and geology.
Midway through the hike, at approximately 6.93 kilometers, you will reach the highlight of the trail, Vorderer Verdinser Plattenspitz - Laste di Verdines (di fuori), a majestic peak worth the challenging ascent. Be sure to take in the panoramic views before heading back.
Along the trail, there are also various restaurants and rest stops such as Zuegghütte, Rotwandhütte, and Piffinger Köpfl, where you can refuel and rest.
