This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning viewpoints and natural springs. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 15.031 kilometers and an elevation gain of 513 meters, making it extremely difficult.
Starting at the parking area near Cima Pedro Gonzalez, you'll find yourself at the trailhead of PR GC40. As you begin your journey, you'll pass by Montaña de los Palmitos and Degollada de los Tres Pinos, providing panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Midway through the hike, you'll come across Montañón del Andén Quemado, another peak offering breathtaking vistas. Along the way, you'll also encounter several natural springs where you can replenish your water supply.
At the end of the trail, after a challenging but rewarding trek, you'll reach the endpoint at GC-604. Throughout the hike, be sure to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before setting out.
