This challenging circular hiking route in Ganeroitz covers a distance of approximately 7 kilometers with an elevation gain of 509 meters. The total duration for this hike is estimated to be around 2 hours and 53 minutes.

Starting off the trail, you will come across a parking area close to the trailhead to leave your vehicle. As you begin your journey, you will reach a water source at the start of the trail to fill up your bottles before heading towards the first POI, the Erreka-alde restaurant located 0.13 kilometers from the start.

Further along the path, at a distance of 0.5 kilometers, you will find a picnic site for a pit stop before continuing your hike. Along the way, there are multiple drinking water points conveniently located for hikers to rehydrate.

At around the 3-kilometer mark, you will find the Apuko peak situated off the main trail. For those looking for a challenge, a detour to this peak provides stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. Moving forward, the Ganeroitz peak can be spotted 3.48 kilometers into the hike, offering another optional excursion for adventurous hikers.

As you make your way back, you will encounter various sustenance options such as Bar Igor and Taberna Txikia around the 0.02-kilometer mark. Finish off your hike with a well-deserved meal at the Errekatxo restaurant, located right at the trailhead.
