Welcome to the Mitterberg hiking route!

The Mitterberg area offers beautiful views and diverse natural landscapes for hikers to enjoy. The route is a circular trail with a total distance of 6.13 kilometers and an elevation gain of 135 meters, making it a moderate-level hike.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. About 0.87 kilometers in, you will find a bench where you can take a rest and admire the surroundings. Further along the trail, at 0.22 kilometers from the start, there is a water feature where you can refill your water bottle and take a refreshing break.

Continuing on, at 1.1 kilometers into the hike, another water source can be found nearby. As you reach 1.67 kilometers, you will come across yet another water spot, followed by one at 1.73 kilometers. These are great opportunities to hydrate and replenish during your trek.

As you journey onwards, at 3.02 kilometers, you will find a scenic picnic site, perfect for a pit stop to enjoy a snack surrounded by nature's beauty. Additionally, at the same distance mark, there is a viewpoint where you can take in stunning panoramic views of the area.

Throughout the trail, you will also encounter benches at various points, allowing you to take breaks and soak in the peaceful surroundings.

Before embarking on this hike, make sure to bring an adequate supply of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast. The duration of this hike is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, so plan your visit accordingly.
