Welcome to the hiking route from Macun to Alp Zeznina!
This extremely difficult 25.384 km hike offers breathtaking views and challenging terrain for experienced hikers. With an elevation gain of 1184 meters, this route is not for the faint of heart. Make sure to pack plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
Starting at Macun, you will first encounter the Lais d' Immez, a beautiful natural water feature located 12.58 km from the start of the trail. As you continue, you will come across several water sources, including the Fuorcha at 0 km, and Alp Zeznina Dadaint at 8.55 km.
Throughout the hike, you will find informational points such as the Susch information center at 2.62 km, and the God Surpunt information point at 3.67 km. These stops provide interesting facts about the area and its history, adding depth to your hiking experience.
For those in need of rest, there are benches located along the trail, with some picnic sites available as well. Drinking water stations can be found at various points, ensuring you stay hydrated throughout your journey.
The route is an out-and-back type, so you will retrace your steps to return to Macun. Plan for nearly 9 hours of hiking, taking into account the rugged terrain and elevation gain.
