Welcome to the Scala Santa hiking route!

This super easy, circular trail covers a distance of approximately 1.112 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it perfect for hikers of all levels. The trail is located in a beautiful area with stunning views and various points of interest to explore along the way.

As you start your hike, you'll come across a convenient parking area at the beginning of the trail. Just a short distance away, you'll find a peak known as Ceppo di Ghidella offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Along the trail, there are several drinking water stations to stay hydrated, as well as information points where you can learn more about the area's history and landmarks such as La Cruus wayside cross.

Keep an eye out for Pietra Pendula information point and Trattoria Crotto Montepiatto restaurant, perfect for a quick bite to eat. Further along, you'll come across memorials and viewpoints offering unique perspectives of the surroundings.
