This hiking route takes you to the breathtaking Cima dei Monti di Bagno area, known for its stunning alpine scenery. The trail is 12.34 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 756 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across Fonte Fontizio, a drinking water source located 1.35 kilometers from the trail's beginning, providing a refreshing stop along the way. Further along the trail at 4.63 kilometers, you will find an alpine hut for overnight accommodation.
Around the midway point, at 4.63 kilometers, there is "il Laghetto," a picturesque water feature that offers a tranquil spot to rest and take in the scenery. Make sure to bring enough water for the journey, as natural water sources may not always be easily accessible.
For those driving to the trailhead, a parking area is conveniently located at the start of the trail. The endpoint of the hike is the summit of Cima dei Monti di Bagno, standing at 6.17 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area before retracing your steps back to the starting point.
