Welcome to the Sentiero Gianna hiking route! This scenic trail offers a 5.467-kilometer circular journey with an elevation gain of 353 meters, making it a moderate-level hike that takes approximately 2 hours and 8 minutes to complete.
The trail begins at the parking area and leads you through the beautiful natural surroundings. Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest. About 2.01 kilometers from the start, you will find the majestic peak of Monte Mario. While it's not directly on the trail, the view from this point is worth a short detour.
As you continue on, approximately 0.23 kilometers from the start, you will come across Mannori, a cozy cafe where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments. Further along the path, at about 1.17 kilometers from the start, you will reach another peak offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
At the 1.33 kilometer mark, you will encounter Sella di Monte Mario, a natural saddle, as well as an information point and a viewpoint providing insights into the area's history and geography. Don't miss Antro Tetro, a shelter located approximately 2.64 kilometers from the start, offering a place to rest and recharge before continuing your journey.
