This challenging hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and interesting points of interest along the way. The trail is an out-and-back type, totaling 10.2 kilometers with an elevation gain of 914 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 4 hours and 38 minutes to complete.
Starting your adventure, you will pass by a parking area at the beginning of the trail. As you continue, you'll come across the tranquil Taubensee. Further along the hike, you will reach the Rauschberghaus restaurant, where you can take a break and refuel before continuing your journey.
Midway through the trail, you'll encounter the Nord-Rampe takeoff site for free flying enthusiasts, offering a unique perspective of the area. As you near the endpoint, you'll reach the Südost-Rampe takeoff site, providing another thrilling view.
