This challenging hiking route will take you to the beautiful Plaa d'Arre area. With a total distance of 11.972 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1002 meters, this trail is classified as difficult and is estimated to take around 5 hours and 16 minutes to complete.
Starting at the P4 Parking Anglas, you will set off on a journey through pristine natural landscapes. As you make your way along the trail, you will encounter several points of interest. At the beginning of the hike, you will come across a picturesque waterfall known as Cascade d'Uzious, adding a touch of natural beauty to your adventure.
Midway through the hike, you will reach the ruins of historic sites such as Lac d'Uzious and Lac du Lavedan, providing a glimpse into the past. Further along the trail, you will also discover the Cabane de la Coste de Goua, a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
Throughout the hike, you will pass by various water bodies, including rivers and springs, offering refreshing spots to rest and recharge. Additionally, benches and picnic sites are conveniently located along the trail for moments of relaxation.
As you continue your journey, you will reach the Pic d'Anglas peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. At the end of the trail, you will return to the starting point, completing the out-and-back route.
