This challenging hike on the Bergalpenstrasse offers stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way.

Starting at the parking area at the trailhead, you'll begin your ascent through the picturesque landscape. About a quarter of a kilometer into the hike, you'll come across an information point where you can learn more about the area. As you continue onwards, you'll pass by the Monte-Leone restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat or enjoy a refreshing beverage.

About midway through the hike, you'll reach the Bistinepass saddle, a beautiful natural feature that offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Be sure to take a break here and soak in the breathtaking scenery.

As you make your way back, you'll pass by a memorial site and several benches where you can rest and relax before finishing your journey. The total distance of this out-and-back hike is approximately 9.2 kilometers with an elevation gain of 585 meters, making it a challenging trek that is suitable for experienced hikers.
