Welcome to the hiking route to Sabotin - Šmaver!
Located in a picturesque area, this Super easy trail covers a distance of 1.567 kilometers with an elevation gain of 34 meters, making it perfect for hikers of all skill levels.
Starting at the beginning of the trail, you will come across points of interest such as the Dom na Sabotinu parking area and restaurant, where you can park your vehicle and grab a bite to eat before embarking on your journey. As you continue on, you will reach Sabotino / Sabotin peak, providing stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
Further along the trail, you will encounter Sabotin - soška fronta, a historic battlefield site, and various viewpoints where you can stop and appreciate the beauty of nature. Make sure to visit the information point for any additional insights about the area.
Midway through the hike, you will find a bench where you can take a rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Lastly, as you near the end of the trail, don't miss the monument, a significant historical site that adds depth to your hiking experience.
