Welcome to the Alto da Mangalarga hiking route! This trail is located in a beautiful area with stunning natural landscapes and challenging terrain.

As you start your journey, you will pass by Rio Water Planet, a popular attraction in the area located just 9.35 meters from the trail. The trail continues with several other points of interest, including various attractions like caves, waterfalls, and peaks.

About midway through the hike, you will come across Alto da Mangalarga, a peak with incredible views, located 7.83 kilometers from the start of the trail. This is a great spot to take a break, enjoy the scenery, and maybe even have a snack before continuing your adventure.

Throughout the hike, you will encounter various attractions and natural wonders, offering plenty of opportunities to appreciate the beauty of the surroundings. Keep in mind that this is an extremely difficult hike, with a distance of 15.668 kilometers and an elevation gain of 732 meters.

Remember to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging journey. The route is an out-and-back type, so you will retrace your steps on the way back.
