This extremely difficult hiking route near Bei den Seen offers a challenging but rewarding experience for hikers. The 12.665-kilometer trail features an elevation gain of 797.0 meters and is expected to take about 4 hours and 55 minutes to complete. Before embarking on this adventure, be sure to pack plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast.
Starting at the trailhead, hikers will pass by a parking area at the beginning of the route. As you progress, you'll come across several points of interest along the way. Approximately 3.89 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach Alp Trida, a restaurant where you can take a break and refuel.
Further along the trail at a distance of 3.12 kilometers from the start, you'll find a natural water source for a refreshing pit stop. For those looking for sustenance, Hotel Cresta and Hotel Romantica are located just 0.19 kilometers off the trail.
If you continue on, you'll encounter Skihaus Alp Trida around 3.73 kilometers from the start point. As you push forward, at approximately 6.33 kilometers into the hike, another water source will be available for hikers.
Keep in mind that there are additional water sources and dining options situated further away from the trail. The trail consists of an out-and-back route type, so you'll retrace your steps on the way back. Remember to pace yourself and enjoy the stunning scenery this hike has to offer.
