This hike to Roque Palmés is an extremely difficult 12.998-kilometer out-and-back route with a total elevation gain of 694 meters. The estimated duration for this hike is 4 hours and 44 minutes.
Starting at the parking area, hikers will follow the trail, passing by several water features along the way. At the beginning of the hike, you will come across a small water source known as El Manantial. Further along the trail, you will find more water spots, some closer to the trail and others a bit further away.
As you continue on the trail, you will come across informational points providing insights into the area's history and landmarks. One such point is El Toscon, located approximately 6.38 kilometers from the start. Additionally, you will pass by viewpoints like the one at 3.28 kilometers, offering panoramic views of the surroundings.
Midway through the hike, you will encounter Wayside Crosses that add a touch of historic charm to the trail. These crosses are located at various points, with the closest one being at 2.3 kilometers.
Approaching the endpoint, you will reach Roque Palmés, a notable landmark that marks the turnaround point of the route. From here, you can enjoy breathtaking views before retracing your steps back to the starting point.
