This hiking route takes you through the stunning area of Camí d'Aigüestortes a l'Estany de Sant Maurici - la Vall de Boí. The trail is an out-and-back type, covering a distance of 9.226 kilometers with an elevation gain of 214 meters, making it a difficult hike due to its length and elevation.
As you start your journey, you will come across La Molina parking area, located right at the beginning of the trail. About 3.87 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Estany de Llebreta, a picturesque water body where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery. Further along the trail, at around 4.61 kilometers, you will find the Cascada de Sant Esperit waterfall, although it is slightly off the main path.
As you continue onwards, you will encounter Cabana del Magre, a wilderness hut located approximately 3.87 kilometers from the start of the trail. This can be a good spot to rest and refuel before heading back. Additionally, there are informational points along the way such as the one at 0.05 kilometers and another at 4.08 kilometers, providing you with interesting facts about the area.
For breathtaking views, make sure to stop by the viewpoints at 4.61 kilometers on your way back.
