This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Rocca del Groppazzo. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 6.243 kilometers and an elevation gain of 107 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.
As you start your journey, you will come across the "Area Picnic Faiallo", a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy a meal in the midst of nature. Just a little further along the trail, about 0.9 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water source, "Fonte Tascea", where you can refill your water bottle.
Continuing on, at 2.17 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the "Rocca Vaccaria" peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings. Along the way, you will also pass by the "Pietra Miliare FD" boundary stone, adding a touch of historic charm to your adventure.
As you approach the midway point of the trail, you will encounter the "Passo Vaccaria" saddle, a picturesque location perfect for a brief rest stop. Throughout the hike, keep an eye out for several barbecue spots scattered along the trail, offering a great opportunity for a picnic or a BBQ experience in nature.
Towards the end of the hike, about 2.68 kilometers from the start, you will reach the "Rocca del Groppazzo" peak, where you can enjoy the breathtaking views before making your way back to the starting point.
