Welcome to the Schloßbergweg hiking route!

The Schloßbergweg is a scenic circular trail that offers a super easy hiking experience, perfect for beginners and families. With a total distance of 0.944 kilometers and an elevation gain of 34 meters, this route can be completed in approximately 18 minutes.

Starting at the trailhead, you will find convenient parking areas nearby at the beginning of the route. As you make your way along the trail, you will encounter various points of interest such as a Kneippbecken, a relaxing water feature perfect for a refreshing break. Nearby, you will also find a Radlerrastplatz, a picnic site where you can enjoy a snack while taking in the beautiful surroundings.

Further along the trail, you will come across the Kriegerdenkmal für die Gefallenen des Ersten Weltkriegs, a memorial dedicated to the fallen soldiers of World War I. Additionally, you will pass by the Schloßberg peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. Be sure to stop by the fountains along the way to refill your water bottle and stay hydrated.

For a quick break, there are benches scattered along the trail where you can rest and take in the peaceful ambience of the forest. As you near the end of the route, you will encounter viewpoints where you can capture breathtaking photos of the landscape.
