As you start your journey, you will come across the Katzsteinbaude restaurant just 0.05 kilometers from the trailhead, offering a quick stop for refreshments. Continuing on, you will pass by a bench about 1.55 kilometers into the hike, providing a spot to rest and take in the surroundings.

Further along the trail, at approximately 1.3 kilometers, you will find the Signal peak, located off the trail but worth the short detour for a panoramic view. As you approach the 1.86-kilometer mark, you will encounter the Maus peak and Dicke Berta peak, perfect for climbing enthusiasts looking for a challenge.
