This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Katzfels, offering stunning views and a chance to immerse yourself in nature. With a total distance of 3.864 kilometers and an elevation gain of 170 meters, this hike is rated as easy, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Katzsteinbaude restaurant, just 0.05 kilometers from the trailhead, where you can grab a bite to eat before setting off. Further along the trail, at 0.22 kilometers, you will find a bench for a quick rest stop.

Midway through the hike, at 1.45 kilometers, you will reach the Signal peak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Continuing on, you will encounter the Karl Josef Focke memorial at 1.42 kilometers and several picnic sites for a peaceful break in the midst of nature.

As you near the end of the trail, at 1.93 kilometers, you will reach the Katzfels peak, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the area. Nearby, the Zum Kohlenmeiler attraction provides an interesting stop before making your way back.
