This hiking route takes you through the beautiful VanDusen Botanical Garden in Vancouver. The trail is super easy, with a distance of 0.808 kilometers and no elevation gain.
Along the way, you will come across various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find parking facilities if you are arriving by car. Further along, about 0.4 kilometers into the hike, you will pass by Forest Lake, Meadow Ponds, Shaughnessy Lake, and Cascade Bend, all providing a peaceful and scenic backdrop.
As you continue on the trail, you will also encounter some amenities such as benches for resting, drinking water stations, and even artwork like The throne of Nezahualcoyotl. About halfway through the hike, there is a beautiful waterfall at Cascade Bend, offering a refreshing sight and a great place to take a break.
Towards the end of the trail, you will find Totem Poles and other artwork before reaching the peak of the trail, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area.
