Welcome to the Wasserfallweg hiking route in Hintertux! This easy out-and-back trail spans 1.626 kilometers with an elevation gain of 113 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all skill levels.

Starting at the Hintertux parking area, you'll find amenities like Mäk Tux for quick snacks and Hotel Rindererhof for a sit-down meal, just 0.12 kilometers into the hike. As you make your way along the trail, you'll pass by the Hohenhaus Tenne bar before reaching the Hotel Vierjahreszeiten restaurant at the 0.02-kilometer mark.

Along the route, you'll encounter various points of interest such as the Gletscherbahn information center (0.03 km), Almhit bar (0.0 km), and Kaiserbründl restaurant (0.0 km). Be sure to take a moment to rest at the benches placed every few hundred meters to admire the surrounding scenery.

As you continue, you'll come across the Schraubenfall waterfall at the 0.55-kilometer mark, offering a refreshing natural sight. Further ahead, the Hintertuxer Quellwasser drinking water point is a convenient spot to refill your water bottle.

For those interested in viewpoints, be sure to visit the Wasserfallweg viewpoint at 0.53 km, followed by two more viewpoints at 0.63 km and 0.67 km respectively, offering stunning vistas of the area.
