This hiking route starts in the picturesque area of Hohlensteinbach. The trail is a circular route that covers a distance of 19.3 kilometers with an elevation gain of 33 meters, making it a moderate level hike.

As you embark on the trail, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the route, you will find "Altes Bad," a restaurant where you can fuel up before the hike. There are also parking facilities available at Altes Bad for easy access to the starting point.

During your hike, you will encounter several benches where you can rest and take in the surrounding nature. You will also pass by the König Max I. Joseph Denkmal memorial, offering a glimpse into the area's historical significance.

As you continue on the trail, you will come across the Heilig-Kreuz-Quelle spring, providing fresh water for hikers. Make sure to stay hydrated during your journey and bring enough water with you.

Towards the end of the hike, you will reach Zum Heilig Kreuz, a place where you can replenish your energy before completing the route. The endpoint of the trail is back at Hohlensteinbach, where you can reflect on the beautiful nature you experienced during the hike.
