This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on a 12.5-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 1371 meters to the peak of Niedertörl. Starting at the trailhead, you will first pass by a parking area before reaching the Stegenwald restaurant, where you can grab a bite to eat before embarking on the challenging ascent.
As you make your way up the trail, you will encounter two refreshing springs, one located 2.88 kilometers from the start and the other at the 4.25-kilometer mark. These are great spots to refill your water bottle and take a short break before continuing on. At the 1.83-kilometer mark, you will also come across a stunning waterfall, offering a picturesque setting to rest and admire the natural beauty.
Midway through the hike, at the 4.87-kilometer mark, an information point provides valuable insights into the surrounding area and its history. As you push onwards towards the peak, located at the 6.26-kilometer mark, be prepared for a challenging climb that rewards you with breathtaking views at the summit.
