This extremely difficult 14.63-kilometer out-and-back hike takes you to the breathtaking Mittlerer Wieselstein peak. The trail starts near a parking area and a restaurant called Stegenwald, where you can fuel up before embarking on your journey. As you make your way along the trail, you'll pass by two springs, offering a refreshing stop for hikers.
Approximately 7.32 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the Mittlerer Wieselstein peak, which provides stunning views of the surrounding area. Further along the trail, at the 1.83-kilometer mark, you'll encounter a beautiful waterfall, adding to the scenic experience of this hike.
For those interested in learning more about the area, there are informational points along the way, with one located at the 4.87-kilometer mark and another at the 0.03-kilometer mark.
