This hiking route is an extremely difficult out-and-back trail spanning 14.692 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1404.0 meters, taking approximately 6 hours and 54 minutes to complete. The trail starts in a picturesque area surrounded by natural beauty.
As you begin your hike, you will come across a parking area conveniently located at the start of the trail. A restaurant named Stegenwald is also nearby, allowing you to grab a meal or snack before setting out on your journey. Further along the trail at around 5.83 kilometers, you will encounter Pischenbergsee - a breathtaking natural water feature adding to the scenic beauty of the hike.
Midway through your trek at approximately 7.35 kilometers, you will reach the Leopold-Happisch-Haus alpine hut. This is a great spot to take a break, refuel, and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. Additionally, along the way, you will come across two natural springs for replenishing your water supply.
As you near the end of the trail, around 1.83 kilometers from the start, you will come across a mesmerizing waterfall, adding a touch of serenity to your hiking experience.
